​Jasmine, a woman in her forties, seems to have it all: a devoted husband, three loving children, and a thriving beauty salon in southern Naples, right next to where she grew up. However, after her father's death, her world is unsettled by a recurring dream where a young girl runs into her arms, filling her with a deep sense of completeness. After a period of anguished reflection, Jasmine decides she must find the girl from her dream. She dives headfirst into the complex world of international adoption.

This decision puts her marriage, her children's stability, and her moral compass at risk.
